We drew inspiration from a traditional mountain-dweller party, the Désalpe, celebrating the return of herds who have been grazing all summer long in high altitude pastures

Combining Salomon's unique edging chassis for precision on technical terrain, with the protection and durability of leather and Gore-Tex, the X-Desalp is a lightweight shoe for every situation in the mountains

The patented Edging Chassis™ offers solid lateral support for scrambling over boulders, progressing on all types of terrain

The 3D banding system and anti-debris mesh bring additional protection and durability

Finally, the Gore-Tex® sockliner ensures breathable protection against the elements all year long
